Schools, other officers and partners are encouraged to refer young people age 13 – 17 to the increasingly popular Think First Police Programme which was initially developed within the partnerships team and grew to encompass the think first initiative as a way of enhancing the project so that it could become an accredited programme that is now delivered with partners, content includes the following:-

  • Policing in the community
  • Drugs awareness
  • Gang prevention
  • Teenage relationships and changes to domestic abuse legislation to include 16 and 17 year olds
  • Think First
  • E safety
  • Offender management
  • The reality of prison life
