SWITCH will be offering short courses, starting in next week with “Building Resilience”. This course is for 18-25 year olds and aims to build self-confidence, raise self-esteem and improve social interaction. It would be beneficial for any young adult who has low self-esteem/confidence due to lack of educational opportunity or personal/environmental factors. It is accredited by Open College Network West Midlands (6 credits).
The course will enable learners to:
– recognise and develop their own strengths and social skills
– make positive decisions
– set and act on personal goals
– manage social relationships
– interact successfully with others
