Youth and Community Development Officer (37hrs p.w) £23,398

Are you a creative thinker and doer? Do you have an ability to communicate effectively and support others to influence change? Are you passionate about the work that active citizens, voluntary organisations and charities do to enhance the lives of children young people and their families? We are looking for experienced individuals who are comfortable with ambiguity and able to thrive in a fluid environment to stand alongside children, young people, their families and organisations who support them. Negotiating with them to improve their experiences, life chances and to grow and develop further voluntary sector activity and statutory provision to best meet their needs and those of their peers.

Duration of posts:

Children’s Development Officer 3 years

Youth and Community Development Officer 1 year

Are you interested in becoming an accredited Dudley Safeguarding Children Board Trainer? We are seeking a bank of voluntary sector staff and volunteers who would like to deliver basic What to do if ? safeguarding training to other voluntary sector colleagues.

Training will be a full day on either Monday 31st July or Tuesday 26th September
