Cranstoun are proud of our reputation for providing innovative, pragmatic and high quality treatment and recovery services to individuals and communities affected by alcohol and drugs. Cranstoun are seeking a stop smoking practitioner who would be responsible for facilitating the development of a smoking cessation programmes for young people of Dudley borough.
The role will be focusing on the 4 colleges, alternative providers as well as the youth hub at switch. The role will also offer individual support to young people who wish to quit smoking using psychological approaches, behavioural change technics, treatment, advice and support.
The Youth Hub is an integrated young people’s health and wellbeing centre for any children and young people living in the Dudley borough. Included in the Youth Hub are Switch (drug & alcohol service) and Brook (a sexual health service for young people). If you are enthusiastic, motivated and looking to make a difference then this is the role for you.
You should have experience of working with young people and their families and possess a clear understanding of their needs as well as knowledge of smoking cessation, drug and alcohol use.
